Hi, my name is Jigdal. I use He/Thy pronouns and I am a Bisexual and Buddhist Master's Level Intern here at DMHG. I am a 3rd Year Student at Naropa University studying Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. This branch of psychotherapy aims to develop a client's ability to be mindful and aware of their internal and external experiences while also being in relationship with others and their environment. This can occur through mindfulness-based practices such as meditation, ritual, prayer, art, or movement practices such as dance or martial arts.
The human experience is a journey that holds many moments of beauty and turbulence. In conjunction with this, every person's story is unique to their upbringing, morals, history, and identities, which should be treated with care. With this in mind, I would also like to talk about my specialties and what I can provide.
I am open to trauma work, and coping with anxiety, depression, and addiction. I also provide services for those who are neurodivergent and have ASD or ADHD. In addition to individual counseling, I also provide couples counseling, and case management services for those looking to get connected to government benefits and resources.
Looking forward to our first session,
Jigdal
